To travel from Tauranga to Wellington is too far for us so we decided to have a day in Ohakune/Ruapehu. During the winter it is very expensive to say as its the main ski resort on the North Island but during summer its very cheap at $100 a night. The batch was modern and spacious which was perfect for many Nerf battles! The views as you can see were sensational.
