Whilst Sid and Claire were here they spotted an Easter family special to watch the Auckland Blues. It was a fantastic offer of $10 an adult and $5 for a child! An offer we couldn't refuse so Alex, I, Sid, Claire and Nathan went.
Pirate Pete was their mascot and Alex used his new look to fit in! I'm thinking of putting Alex forward for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie! We had fantastic seats which were close to the action and some of the tackles were terrifying. Whenever there was a lull in the match the cheerleaders cheered us up! What a fantastic idea.
The Blues dominated the game and won by a margin so we got to see lots of tries which was awesome. Not quite converted yet but I was impressed.
