Day three in Vancouver
We tried to have a more mummy and daddy day by going to one of the biggest malls in North America, it nearly worked out. We had a great trip on the Skytrain and arrived within 15 mins once we found the right line, nearly ended up on the seabus. Within 10 mins we walked into a Nintendo stall of playing games for as long as you like, so they did. It was all 3Ds and they were allowed to try all the games whilst they gave us free coffee! Nearly as mad as someone giving us free presents to help him make a movie on children being happy at Christmas!? They were transformer toys which are really expensive, Xmas came early for the boys. We also found an amazing chocolate shop which we had to spoil the boys with after they drooled over the window!

Science World 4
After an exhausting couple of hours interacting with stuff we found the 'Extreme Dinosaurs' exhibit. All the dinosaurs moved in some way and just as Tom walked under the T-Rex it started to move its head. Brilliant shot as it happened.
Science World 3
Just when we thought our day was coming to an end we walked into the most amazing interactive room. There were literally 100's of different things to do and they all involved doing something physical. Oil loved putting a parachute into a chute which blew into the air and he caught it. Alex loved keeping the beach ball in the air and guiding it through hoops. Tom loved the waterways with balls.
Science World 2
There were various shows on topics like electricity and the boys loved them. In the electricity show Alex was asked onto the stage and he was so proud. It was so funny, he took it very seriously!
Science World
Where do we start? Oli was obsessed with a wheelchair racing game and challenged everyone in the building. He sat there for ages with the biggest smile on his face, win or lose. Tom was happy squeezing into a small space.
Vancouver 3
We had another very busy day. Firstly we found a wonderful book shop where the boys didn't know where to go next and Fran hardly moved from the Fraggle Rock puppets! We spent two hours looking at various books and things, then went to Starbucks where played story dice. It worked a treat although the stories they made were a little surreal. We then headed to Science World. The last photo was literally the last photo of the day, how festive is that!

Vancouver Christmas lights
The lights here are wonderful, everything is covered in multi-colored lights. Our hotel is no exception, never seen so many. Tom has been in heaven, cries of 'Lights, lights, lights' has actually stopped. We came here to get into the spirit of Xmas and it has definitely worked.
