Disney Hollywood Studios

By the time we had unpacked it was getting close to 3pm, that did not stop us for getting to a park asap.  My mum was keen to see Fantasmic and so a decision was made.  It took about 15 mins to find the park and we were on the mini train to the entrance.  All xmas decorations were still up and we stayed late to see them as they were amazing.  We did a couple of rides including star tours and 3d muppet show which the boys were blown away with, real 3D - right up to the face! The show was fantasmic particulary when all the water caught on fire, bit disappointing about the lack of hot chocolate though, it was a bit chilly.

And the sun arrives!

It takes forever to upload the pictures so there will be less photos, sorry.  Anyway, thank you to Team Bisson for being such awesome hosts and putting up with us for so long and keeping the boys constantly entertained. 

Biss kindly dropped us off at 7am in the morning at Cleveland aiport and we arrived in Florida at 11.30 to blistering sunshine! Yippee.  Fortunately we bumped into my mum as we were searching for baggage claim and we quickly drove off to our lovely villa in a gated community with a gym - we promised ourselves we would use it.  Even though the sun was shining it was a bit chilly and so we were still wearing some of our 'warmer' clothes.

And the snow arrives!

The boys were so excited to help clear the driveway, tomorrow should keep the busy - two feet forecasted! Today we visited an arcade where the boys play games and collect tokens, they loved it. After we went to a Bailey/Bisson favourite, Red Robin which is a burger restaurant with amazing onion rings!

Living in Cleveland

After the lantern they had a game of freeze dance which Alex surprisingly loved, shake those hips! The boys have loved the American breakfasts of pancakes, cereal, brownies and hash browns with cheese! Oli has been obsessed with Jersey, their dog, and is constantly playing with him. They disappeared most days into the basement where there was lots of girlie toys and arty stuff.

The boys loved destroying the piñata and collecting a lot of lollies, Tom stared at his bag for five minutes. After they put there wishes for 2012 and set off the lantern. It was a little chilly, -2, and the children ran inside to put there feet up!

We have had a wonderful relaxing time enjoying the festive feeling of being near a log fire and snow. We had a great new years eve party with a Mexican theme and the boys loved taking out the piñata.

We left Whistler at 12 and was able to take a clearer shot of the mountain. We arrived at Vancouver at 4 but unfortunately our flight was delayed and we had to stay in the Fairmont airport hotel which was a bonus. We got more sleep this way. We arrived in Cleveland at 3 and went straight to the local play area which was amazing, it was huge! Great for the boys as they had been sat down for the last 5 hours. The next day Molly and Simon took is to an outside mall and introduced us to Menchies where the children have too much ice-cream and sugar. We also went to a fabulous book shop and decided to get Alex a kindle, lot easier to carry than huge books - its an ebook reader.
