Alex has had a fantastic year. He is much more relaxed and confident. His reading ability has gone off the scale, the last 'probe'(why do they use such controversial names!) test he came out as 14 year old!! They have to pass tests with their reading at home and gains points depending on the difficulty of the book. Alex has the highest score in the whole school! He received a certificate and 'The Fellowship of the Ring' as his prize, as you do. I was still reading books with lift up flaps at his age!
Alex also received a principals award for 'his positive and enthusiastic attitude towards school life'. He has always been popular with teachers as he is such a social and chatty person. Where does he get that from?
