Inside the new home - sneek peek!

Here is just few shots of the main living area as you can see we need some more
furniture but we are getting there. Its a huge area all on one level and you can walk
out unto three balcony areas. There is a reserve right next to us which means we
are not surrounded by houses. We have 4 bedrooms and a guest room if anyone
fancies coming over for a long weekend!!

Library Visit and MacDonalds

Had little time out today as still building furniture, everything comes as a flatpack!
Boys were desperate to try out the play area at MacDonalds so had to force ourselves.
We then went to sign with the library (there are six we can go to now) and it had a lovely park
next to it. As you can see the boys are loving it here.

Home - outside

We have a home! Not allowed to show the inside yet as its full of boxes etc but
will hopefully have shots on soon. We are really pleased with it as it has
a guest room and a nice size garden all the way around the house. The boys need
space! They are really enjoying having their own room, guess who is the untidy
one!

New car and new classroom

We finally have a car - Toyota Estima 8 seater. Very nice. Has to be a Japanese
import as its cheaper and easy to fix when it goes wrong. Had the windows tinted
as it was like oven inside plus it looks cooler.
My new class has absolutely nothing in it, should be interesting.
As you can see the views from my room and the staff room are awesome. The staff
sometimes have parties in and around the staffroom on the balcony. Everyone seems
lovely, John invited us around for BBQ to meet some staff which was great a start.

Swim time

Jo and Dan have a lovely salt water pool. The boys have been in it at least twice a day and
have learnt to swim. Tom Cousteau particularly likes to dive underwater and Alex is now
swimming lengths with excellent technique (mummy very pleased about that!)
The weather has been between 25 to 30 and February is their best month!

The Zoo

We became members of the zoo so we can visit lots of times. And we will, its awesome.
The boys were blown away, particularly feeding a giraffe although I had to stop Ollie
from eating its food!
As you can see the boys get on really well with Georgia (Jo and Dan's daughter) and
as expected she loves Ollie.
There is picture of Jo and Dan who we will be forever in their debt for all their wonderful
support, kindness and patience. Thank you.

Nearby beaches

Jo and Dan live 2 mins away from Murrays Bay and you can walk to Mariangi Bay
which is very close to my school. As you can see, its beautiful. Behind Alex you
can see the Volcano Rangitoto, its still active!! Have not told Fran yet.

Finally in NZ!

We are finally in New Zealand. Yippee!
We are extremely fortunate that Jo and Dan have allowed us to stay with them and borrow
their car and most importantly their SatNav!
In NZ you are allowed to use the apparatus in schools which as you can see the boys
are very pleased about. The school is 2 mins from their house.

Pixar Parade

In the California park there was a Pixar parade. As you can imagine, every character
looked 'real'. It was so fantastic that after it finished, Tom stood by the tree surrounded
by bubbles for 10 mins in disbelief. He just stared into the darkness. The shuttle
back to the hotel was noisy, they couldn't stop talking about it.

Stinkerbell

Tom was too small for a few a rides so he got to meet most of the characters.
We had to wait 30 mins to meet, we thought it was a ride, Tinkerbell. Alex
renamed her Stinkerbell due to the disappointment of no actual ride!

California

Outside the California park was the name in huge letters and we thought
it would be cool to have a photo with a letter - Ollie didn't.

Ollie Heaven!

When Ollie saw Lightning McQueen he was excited but when the guy asked
if he would like to give Lightning a clean Ollie would not stop smiling. In fact he
would not stop cleaning - he cleaned every part of him. I'm hoping he will show
such passion with our new car.
